This past week, the WeAreTeachers Helpline discussed a question that nosotros all should exist so lucky to have: How practise yous thank a sub who went above and beyond? Teacher Amy wrote in, "After being out with the flu for three days, I came back to a make clean room, organized stacks of papers (which she graded!), awesome feedback, no incidents reported and no stress most being gone! Teaching is i of those professions where information technology's more work to be absent-minded than to be nowadays, and then we totally become it, Amy! Here are some suggestions for showing your appreciation to this wonderful instructor.

Lunch (or gas or groceries) is on you.

"Get her a small gift bill of fare for lunch somewhere, or dinner for two for a date night." —Desiree H.

Don't overlook a elementary thank-you note.
